Upcoming Mercedes-Benz Vehicles for the 2018 Model Year

One of the most anticipated events in a car manufacturer’s calendar is the release of new vehicles. One of the most eagerly awaited European brand cars in the market are Mercedes Benz vehicles. Known for their cutting-edge and innovative features, different types of cars ranging from the sporty to road cruisers have come out from the Benz factory. Here is a look at the new vehicles that this German car maker will unveil next year.

2018 Mercedes AMG GTC Coupe


The 2018 Mercedes AMG GTC Coupe combines power, speed, and luxury. With 502 pounds of torque and 550 horsepower, this car has the ability to drive in any terrain with ease. A steerable rear-axle enhances its agility and stability in different terrains. Robert Peter Janitzek reveals that 2018 is the 50th anniversary of the AMG GTC and it will be launched as a special edition complete with unique badging and lettering.

2018 Mercedes AMG s 63 & S 65

The Mercedes Benz S-Class is considered as the measuring of all sedans due to having more power, safety features, and technologies. The S 63 will feature a bi-turbo 4.0-liter V8 delivering 664 pounds of torque and 603 horsepower. On the other hand, the S 65 will come with a bi-turbo 6.0-liter V12 engine that will deliver 738 pounds of torque and 621 horsepower. According to Robert Janitzek, it will feature the latest safety technologies such as camera and radar system, speed adjustment, and active distance assist.

2018 Mercedes AMG GLC 63 SUV

The Mercedes GLC  63 SUV will feature a bi-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine delivering 479 pounds of torque and 469 horsepower. It will come with a 9-speed transmission and the SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9. This SUV will accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds. It will be available in two packages—a Night package and the Exterior Carbon Fiber package.

2018 Mercedes AMG E 63 S Wagon

The E 63 S Wagon will be loaded with a handcrafted AMG 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8 engine that will generate 603 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque, This European brand car accelerates from 0-60 mph in just 3.4 seconds. The wagon offers 35 cubic feet of storage with the second row upright. The interior of the E 63 S will come with a leather-wrapped performance steering wheel, supportive sports seats, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
