The 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show unveiled hypercars, electric vehicles, and a concept car that can also double as an extension of your house. While their prices have not yet been confirmed, here is what we know so far.
Pitted as the rival of the Range Rover, the BMW X7 is projected to steal the premium 4 x 4 market. While it featured a plug-in hybrid powertrain, a variant will diesel and petrol engines will be sold as well including plug-in variants. The X7 will come with an enlarged kidney grille and slab-back rear end. The approximate price of the BMW X7 is £70,000
2018 Renault Sport Megane
Unlike other hot hatches, Robert Peter Janitzek reveals that the 2018 Renault Sport Megane will be less powerful. However, the car manufacturer is hoping to make customers smile on per-gallon rankings. The Megane is a 280bhp track weapon. To lure those who are looking for petrol, it will come with a manual gearbox.
Outside of its terrible name, the Volkswagen T-Roc is a compact SUV with a handsome look. The five-seat hatchback slots in below the Tiguan making it the smallest SUV in Volkswagen’s range. The T-Roc will come in diesel and petrol engine variants as well as a choice of 2 or 4-wheel drive. This European brand car will be priced at £19,000.
The Seat Arona is not your traditional SUV but it can prove to be a very practical small family car. It is part of the VW Group franchise but is less expensive. The Arona is a jacked-up version of the Seat Ibiza. Customization is the name of the game for the Arona as it offers 68 color combinations for the lower and upper body.
The Dacia Duster is a cheap SUV that offers enough space for the family. For 2018, the Romanian car manufacturer is adding to class to its name. The European brand car undergoes a styling overhaul that features new lights and wheels. The interior also undergoes a major upgrade. When launched in the market, the price of the new Dacia is £10,000.
Land Rover Discovery SVX
The Land Rover Discovery SVX is powered by JLR’s 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine delivering 518bhp. It will be created by the car maker’s Special Vehicle Operations team and will be the ultimate on offroad offering. The Land rover Discovery SVX will be priced at £100,000.
