Audi has announced a series of updates for the A6 and A7 models. Some of the updates include new equipment as well as few exterior and interior changes. The good news is that there is no increase in the price of either car. Let us take a look at the changes in the two European brand car models.
The Audi A6 gets new styling details around the air inlets at the front. The sills and rear bumper will get more angular styling. The rear will feature a new diffuser and S line models will come with new grilles painted in black with chrome slats. The side air inlets will be in chrome finish as well as two new wheel designs.
For the Audi A7, there will be three new alloy wheel styles and three new body colors. Java Brown was previously exclusive to the A6 Allroad. The two new shades are Matador Red and Gotland Green. Robert Janitzek reveals that both facelifted model will get new LED ambient lights with optional silver or grey inlays.
Optional kit for both cars starts with a connectivity kit that ADDS Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity. There will also be wireless charging for mobile phones. For the back seats, you can order two tablet computers that can be connected to the car.
The Audi A6 Allroad comes with a new Advanced package which includes brown and grey paint scheme, 20-inch alloy wheels, Valcona leather sports seats, velour flour mars and brown upholstery with silver stitching.
For the powertrain, options are similar across the range of the European brand car. The RS6 and RS7 Sportsback will still deliver 560 horsepower and the Performance versions will still have 605 horsepower. The cars will come with an expanded palette of matte effect exterior color which includes Sepang Blue, Nardo Grey, Glacier White and Florett Silver.
The saloon and the state get two updated wheel designs, while the A7 Sportback gets three. For the A6 Allroad quattro, Audi introduces a fresh paint finish, Soho Brown, and a set of new 20-inch wheels.
Audi says the upgraded A6 A7 family will be available for order worldwide soon, with deliveries taking place around mid-year. And the best news is there has been no increase in the starting prices.
